Yaxuan Zhao is a first-year PhD student. Her research is devoted to understanding the social connection of the digital age. Outside the lab, she is pretty easygoing and warm-hearted. In her leisure time, she likes painting and journaling.

Master’s student in Developmental and Educational Psychology at Southwest University. Outgoing and generous, open to making new friends. Research interests: adolescent mental health, social support, and social network analysis. Proficient in data analysis with R, igraph and UCINET. Presided over a mental health group‑counseling project for junior high school students. Strong in overall planning, collaboration and execution.

Siyong Wu

Wu Siyong is a Master's student in Developmental and Educational Psychology. Her current research interests center on adolescents' perceived social support and depressive symptoms within the context of classroom social networks. Outside of research, she enjoys singing, dancing, watching films, and playing badminton, and also values the relaxation and broader perspectives that travel brings. By balancing work and rest, she maintains a positive attitude toward both research and life.

Yu Fang is a master’s student at the Faculty of Psychology, Southwest University. Her research interests focus on emotion concepts, emotion representation, and individual differences in emotional processing. She is particularly interested in using neuroimaging and computational approaches to investigate the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying emotional representation across individuals and modalities.

Yilin Liu is currently interested in attentional bias in individuals with social anxiety, as well as its brain function and structural basis. She is learning several programming languages to better assist her future study, research and work. In her leisure time, she enjoys relaxing in parks and doing handicrafts. She loves challenging herself.

Zhiqin Miao is currently pursuing a master's degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology at Southwest University. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from Southwest University. Her current research interests include emotion concepts, large language models, and how emotion concepts can predict anxiety and depression.

Qiqi Shi

Shi Qiqi's current interests focus on the semantic representation of emotional concepts and the neural mechanisms underlying them. She is deeply fascinated by how emotional concepts are represented in the human mind and brain, and she hopes to further explore the computational encoding of human emotions. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Henan Normal University and is currently pursuing graduate studies at Southwest University. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and trying all kinds of delicious food.

Yu Liu

Yu Liu's research focuses on how the brain develops during childhood and adolescence, and how this process is shaped by the environment. Their work also explores how developmental differences may be related to mental health and psychiatric conditions. To study these questions, Yu Liu uses a combination of neuroimaging, behavioral data, and computational methods.

Jun Hu

Jun Hu has graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at Southwest University as a master. His main research interest during his master's degree was to explore the mechanisms by which emotion regulation affects mental health in stressful situations based on the experience sampling method (ESM) and fMRI. Now, he is a PhD student at the School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences, Peking University. His current research focuses on stress mindsets, stress coping and mental health using ESM, RCT and fMRI. He enjoys living an active lifestyle - through swimming, biking, rock climbing, and badminton.

Luo Qian has graduated from the Department of Applied Psychology at Southwest University in June 2023. During her master years, she was mainly engaged in the research of interoception and anxiety, mainly using physiological polygraph and EEG technology. She is currently working at the Western China institute of Children's Brain and Cognitive of Chongqing University of Education, mainly using EEG technology to study the attention span ability of children aged 7-12.

Jiahui Liu has graduated from the Departmental and Educational of Psychology at Southwest University as a master and conducted research on social cognition using computational model and fMRI during her master years. She's studying for her PhD in Psychology and Cognitive Science at East China Normal University. Her current research focuses on impression management and social decision-making using computational model and fMRI.

Shengyan He

He Shengyan received her Master's degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology from Southwest University. She completed her bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology at Southwest University. Her research focused on emotion conceptual representation and its neural mechanisms. The work examined the generation and development of emotional concepts from a foundational perspective.
